Members

To become a member of Women in a Legal World, you must demonstrate:

Participation in the association for national members entails an annual payment of 80 euros. For international members it entails an annual payment of 100 euros.

  • Experience in the legal sector of more than 10 years
  • Occupy a management position
  • Interest and experience in supporting women towards leadership positions
  • Two existing members to sponsor you (failure to have sponsor members will result in automatic inadmissibility

Young Members

To become a Young Member of Women in a Legal World, you must demonstrate:

  • Experience in the legal sector of more than 2 years
  • Interest and experience in supporting women towards leadership positions
  • At least one existing member to sponsor you (failure to have a sponsor member will result in automatic inadmissibility)
  • Be under 35 years old

Participation in the association for national young members entails an annual payment of 50 euros. For international young members it entails an annual payment of 80 euros.

Friends of WLW

To become a Friend of WLW, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be enrolled in the penultimate or last year of a degree in Law (or double degree with Law) or be enrolled in an access master’s degree or who Less than three years have passed since the completion of the Law degree
  • Minimum 7 average in the bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Recommendation from a WLW member

Friends of Women in a Legal World will not be required to pay any membership fee, and their membership will expire on July 1st of the calendar year in which the interested party will have completed three years since the completion of their law degree.

WLW maintains a controlled growth strategy to allow women with diverse legal backgrounds to join and to facilitate personal connections among members, fostering effective networking. Consequently, even if an application meets the aforementioned criteria, it may not be accepted immediately but could be considered in the future. We encourage applicants not accepted initially to participate in our open events and to reapply after some time.
